Jump Rope For Heart
Jump Rope for Heart
Friday April 13 was the kick off assembly for our annual Jump Rope and Hoops for Heart fundraiser. Students will be skipping and playing basketball from12:30 until 3:00, on Friday April 27, in support of the Heart and Stroke Society. Pledge sheets will be coming home with the students this week. Thank you in advance for your support of this very worthy cause.
Penny Drive
Pennies by the Pound
Mrs. Hall's Grade 4/5 class has surpassed their goal! As part of their unit on Leadership, the students held a penny drive to raise money for the Humane Society. They created posters, wrote announcements and collected pennies every day for 3 weeks. After setting a goal to collect between ten and twenty dollars, the students were thrilled when they far surpassed that goal and collected over one hundred dollars!
Congratulations grade 4 and 5, and thank you to the Harmony community for supporting a worthy cause.
